    Is your child a young carer?

    If you are under 18 and help to look after a relative with a disability, illness, mental health condition or drug or alcohol problem you are a young carer.

    We can help support young carers in a number of different ways. Our support will compliment the work and support offered by these external agencies:

    Shropshire Carers Support Team - Shropshire Carers is a dedicated carer support team within Shropshire Council, providing information, advice and support to adult carers of adults ie 18 years+ which may be useful for the 18-25 age group. Their vision is to enable carers to live their best lives by providing timely and quality information and support.
